Complianz lives in WordPress. It can block scripts, show the banner, and write a cookie policy page on the site. Complience.app does none of that. There is no plugin to install and no shortcode.
Login-walled screens, including wp-admin, stay out of scope. Scan the public templates a new visitor actually hits: home, a post, a form, a shop page.
What to look for in the report
Marketing cookies on the first load are the finding. A statistics cookie that Complianz meant to wait for, and that still appears at 0ms, is the row to hand the developer. Accessibility failures from axe-core sit in the same PDF if you need both.
The UK ICO’s cookies guidance still applies on WordPress: non-essential cookies wait for a real choice. A banner in the footer does not prove the choice happened before the request.
Who should use both
Agencies that install Complianz on client themes and still send a monthly PDF. Owners who changed a plugin and want to see whether the public homepage leaked a pixel again.
