The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025 to in-scope digital services sold to EU consumers. Complience.app runs WCAG 2.2 axe-core checks as technical evidence toward that standard — not as a certificate.
How this maps
EN 301 549 points at WCAG for websites. A Playwright + axe-core pass is a fast way to see which machine-testable criteria fail on a public homepage. Cookie and header evidence sit beside that score because many EU sites also run a CMP. Use the WCAG checklist for the manual remainder, and the ADA checker if the same client also sells in the US.
What the scan covers
WCAG 2.2 A/AA rules axe-core can see, cookies and third-party hosts before Accept, and four security headers. It does not test logged-in flows, native apps, or a full EN 301 549 annex. Plans cap pages per scan on public same-origin URLs.
Who this is for
Agencies with mixed US/EU clients, and site owners who sell into the EU. Micro-enterprise exemptions exist in the directive; do not assume you are out of scope without advice.
