No. Complience.app is an automated technical scan. It can miss issues and can flag false positives. It is not legal advice and does not certify ADA, EAA, GDPR, or CCPA compliance.

### Does an accessibility checker make me ADA compliant?

No. An automated checker finds a subset of WCAG issues that a machine can see. ADA and EAA conformance also need human review of keyboard use, screen-reader behavior, and content meaning. Use the report as evidence of what failed, not as a certificate.

### What does a scan actually check?

Accessibility via axe-core (WCAG 2.2 A/AA), cookies and third-party marketing requests before any consent click (including unlabeled cookies the vendor list does not know), selected HTTP security headers, and eight privacy-policy pillars judged on the fetched text. The public teaser leads with issues for a client pack.

### How is this different from Lighthouse or WAVE?

WAVE and Lighthouse are excellent one-off checkers. Complience.app re-runs on a schedule, emails regressions, and produces a PDF you can send. Cookie capture before consent, including leftovers off the vendor list, is the part WAVE does not cover.

### Do cookie scanners replace Cookiebot or OneTrust?
